The gambling going on inside the Kothi in the posh area Basant Avenue of Amritsar was caught by the police on Monday. ACP Varinder Singh Khosa informed that the police took this entire action on the basis of information. It was reported that gambling is going on in Basant Avenue Kothi No. 6D. After this the team was formed and was raided there to spoil the time. About 21 people were gathered inside the kothi, who were gambling and also feeding.

Police searched all the accused and seized Rs 7.50 lakh from all. Everyone was sitting there smoking cigarettes in public. The police also made a video of the entire raid as a precaution. In which everyone was seen playing together peacefully in a closed room.
Case registered against Kothi owner
The police have also taken action against the owner of the kothi, Harkirat Singh. Police have registered a case against Harkirat and Bukki Raju Tiger, who is gambling, under Gambling Act and Cigarette and Tobacco Act. Everyone is being arrested and interrogated.
