UP Crime: A shocking incident has come to light from Mohanlalganj police station area of Lucknow district of Uttar Pradesh. Where the police have arrested three people on the charge of killing a friend. The three accused made friend Ram Achal drink alcohol and then beat him to death with a rod and threw his dead body in a nearby well. After this all three went missing. This incident is of Thursday 9th February.
Wife filed missing report
According to police information, the accused have been identified as Ram Sufal (30), Rakesh Kumar (25) and Anurag alias Sachin Singh (20). All the accused are residents of Hulas Kheda Mohanlalganj. According to the police, Ram Achal was a cab driver and this was his own car. On February 1, he informed his wife about a booking and left. When he did not return even after three days, his wife Suman lodged a missing report of her husband Ram Achal at the Mohanlalganj police station on February 4.
During interrogation, the accused said this
On the basis of mobile call records and information received on time, the police arrested the accused from near Mau of Nahar Pulia. During interrogation, the accused told the police that he had committed the crime for money. He killed Ram Achal with an iron rod and threw his body in a nearby well. He mortgaged the car to a jeweler for Rs 1 lakh and absconded with the money.
Police said that a case has been registered against the accused under sections 302, 201, 34, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. Police recovered the body of the victim Ram Achal from the well and sent it for postmortem.
