Foreign Portfolio Investors: Foreign investors have invested about Rs 19,000 crore in the Indian equity markets so far in November, due to the softening of inflation in the US and the weakening of the dollar. Foreign investors were selling in September and October
Depository data showed that November witnessed two consecutive months of withdrawals before turning favorable for foreign investors. Foreign investors made a net withdrawal of Rs 7624 crore from Indian markets in September and Rs 8 crore in October.

FPI bought in August and July
Prior to that, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) made net purchases of Rs 51,200 crore in August and about Rs 5,000 crore in July. However, before that, from October 2021 to June 2022, foreign investors remained net sellers for nine consecutive months.
