Four new police stations will soon be set up in Agra. For this the SSP has sent a proposal to the government. Of the four police stations that have been proposed, two will be in the city and two in the countryside. In this, Trans Yamuna Colony of Etmaddaula, Bindu Katra outpost of Sadar, Kirawali outpost and Bamrauli Katara outpost will be made police stations.

At present there are 44 police stations in Agra district. Agra SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary said that a proposal has been sent by him to the headquarters for the formation of four new police stations. In this, the Transyamuna Colony police post of Etmaddaula police station was marked as the new police station. The area of Trans Yamuna Colony Phase 1 and 2, Tedhi Bagiya, Foundry Nagar, Kalindi Vihar will come under Trans Yamuna Colony police station. The police station is proposed to be built in Kalindi Vihar area. Here the ADA land has been marked for the police station.
Apart from this, a proposal for a new police station has been sent in the Bundukatra outpost area of Sadar police station. At the same time, a proposal has been sent to upgrade the Kirawali outpost of Achhnera police station and Bamrauli Katara outpost of Dauki police station as new police stations in the countryside. If a police station is built in Bamrauli Katara post, then only the area of Douki police station will not come in it. Some part of Tajganj police station will also go to Bamrauli Katara police station.

SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary said that at present there are 44 police stations in the metropolis. The proposal of four new police stations has been sent to the government. After the proposal is approved, there will be 48 police stations in the metropolis. Let us inform that earlier in the year 2020, Kamla Nagar police station was formed. In this the area coming under New Agra police station was given. Public will be benefited by the creation of new police stations. They won’t have to go far for their complaints. At the same time, the security system will be strengthened by the establishment of a new police station in the area.
Police station can be built in an area with one lakh population
SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary said that at present there is a rule to create a new police station for the new police station if there is a population of one lakh in the area. On this basis these four places were identified as new police stations. There is a population of more than one lakh all around. Crime has also increased continuously in these areas in the last three years. These areas are developing rapidly.
