Vigilance has also started tightening the noose on Inderjit Singh Indi, the special of former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, arrested in the transportation tender scam in Punjab. Vigilance has also named Indi in the case. Indi used to tell himself only PA (not official PA) of the remaining tears of the people.
The case has been registered against Indi for the reason that Indi was shown in a CCTV footage to Vigilance, due to which her role was also somewhat controversial. It is being told that on August 22, when Vigilance had arrested Ashu from the saloon, a team of Vigilance also went to Ashu’s Model Village house.
During this, the Vigilance took possession of some documents. When the CCTV cameras installed in the area were scanned, the footage of Inderjit Singh Indi was caught by the Vigilance. In that footage, a man is seen approaching Indi on a motor cycle and he leaves with Indi holding a black bag.
Indi walks around for some time with that bag and after some time Indi leaves in the car. The police is looking for Indi since this video and she has been nominated. Now both Indi and Meenu Malhotra are away from Vigilance’s grip at this time.
Let us inform that Inderjit Singh Indi was also named in the statement given by EO Kuljeet Kaur, named in the FIR registered in the scams in the Improvement Trust, but he was not named in this FIR. It is being told that Balkar Singh, the special Mayor of the former minister, has made attendance at the Vigilance Office.
Vigilance officials have sent a full box of questions to Mayor Balkar Sandhu and Sunny Bhalla, asking them to give their full details. It is being told that Mayor Balkar and Sunny Bhalla have been given time till Monday to submit the details to the Vigilance Office.
Similarly, there are other people who are on the radar of Vigilance, who have been asked to give details, so that it can be known who owns how many properties and in how much time they have been built.
