Former Iglas MLA dies: Treatment was going on in Delhi due to liver problem, last journey will leave at 4 pm

Former MLA Trilokiram Diwakar, who won from Aligarh’s Iglas assembly constituency in 2012, passed away on Sunday. She was admitted to Max Hospital in Delhi due to liver problem and she was undergoing treatment there.

Family members told that she was admitted in the hospital for almost a month and her condition remained critical. He breathed his last in the hospital itself at 9 am on Sunday. After which his body has been taken to Delhi’s A7/41 Sector 16 Rohini for the last glimpse.

The last rites will be held in Delhi itself.

Former MLA’s son and former Umesh Diwakar told that his father former MLA Triloki Ram Diwakar died at 9 am on Sunday. After which the body has been kept for the last glimpse at his residence in Delhi.

Family members, relatives and their close people are slowly reaching Delhi. After which his last rites will be performed in Delhi itself. The funeral procession of the former MLA will be taken out at 4 pm and the yatra will reach the Nigambodh crematorium in Delhi, where he will be cremated.

Triloki won on RLD ticket in 2012

Former MLA Triloki Ram Diwakar had contested from Iglas assembly seat in 2012 on RLD ticket and won. He defeated Rajendra Singh of BSP. Originally a resident of village Unchagaon Rasmai in Sadabad region, Trilokiram had won in the alliance of RLD-Congress.

He was also claiming ticket in the 2022 assembly elections. But he could not get a ticket in the SP-RLD alliance. Virpal Singh Diwakar was given ticket in his place. After which he expressed strong displeasure and also opposed the party candidate.
