As soon as Ganeshotsav begins, the first revered Lord Ganesha has gone from house to house. The tradition of installing the idol of Lord Shrinesh continues for more than four decades in Ganesh Chowk. This is the 45th year of establishing the idol of Lord Shri Ganesh. Like every time, this time too a big idol of Lord Ganesha has been installed in Ganesh Chowk.
Along with this the idols of Lord Shankar, Mata Parvati, Lord Kartikeya have also been installed. It was worshiped with rituals late on Wednesday evening. Since evening, devotees reached Ganesh Chowk in large numbers and took blessings after seeing the grand statue of Lord Ganesha. There will be a huge crowd of devotees in Ganesh Chowk every day during Lord Ganesh Utsav. People from all over the city reach Ganesh Chowk to have darshan of Lord Ganesha and seek blessings.
Apart from Ganesh Chowk, Ganesh idols have also been established at other places in the city. Along with this, people have also installed small sized idols of Lord Ganesha in every house. The center of main attraction is Ganesh Chowk itself. Apart from the decoration of the pandal here, the surrounding roads have also been decorated. Along with this, a fair is also being organized here.
