Budget 2023-24: Preparations are starting for the next financial year’s budget (Budget 2023-24). Under this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will start pre-budget meetings today. First of all, the Finance Minister will meet industry experts and experts in the field of climate change along with the infrastructure industry.

It has been informed by tweeting yesterday from the Ministry of Finance that these meetings will be held in a virtual manner and in these the stakeholders will give suggestions for the budget of 2023-24. The Finance Ministry said in a tweet, “Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will hold the first pre-Budget consultation of 2023 in two groups with industry leaders and experts on infrastructure and climate change. It will be held on 21 November 2022.”
Seven meetings will be held in 4 days
According to the information, the Finance Minister will have a total of seven meetings with experts from different fields for four days. Under this, the Finance Minister will meet representatives of agriculture and agro-processing industry, financial sector and capital market on Tuesday, 22 November. On Wednesday, November 24, she will hold meetings with representatives of service sector and business organizations, experts from the social sector, including health, education, water and sanitation. Nirmala Sitharaman will hold a pre-budget meeting with representatives of trade unions and economists on 28 November.
