Rahul Gandhi can give clarification on his London speech on Friday. On Thursday, he met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and sought time for speech in the House.

Parliament did not function even on Thursday
The proceedings of the Parliament were marred by uproar on Thursday as well. As soon as the proceedings of Parliament started at 11 am, both the Houses were adjourned till 2 pm. When the proceedings started in the afternoon, once again there was an uproar, both the Houses were adjourned for the day.

Earlier, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that if Rahul Gandhi insults the country, then as an Indian, we cannot remain silent. He said that Rahul should apologize in this matter. On this, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that PM Modi has also gone abroad many times and spoken against the country. In such a situation, the question does not arise that Rahul should apologize for his statement.

On Thursday, in a press conference, Rahul Gandhi had asked Prime Minister Modi what was his relation with Adani.

I am a member of the Lok Sabha. It is my responsibility to keep my point in the Parliament. If I get a chance to speak in Parliament tomorrow, I will present my views on this subject in detail there. However, it seems they will not allow me to speak in the Parliament House.

He said- I had not said anything against India in London. If I get a chance to speak in Parliament, I will keep my point. He further said that the BJP does not like my speaking.

Modi holds meeting with ministers, opposition meeting at Kharge’s house
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with top ministers in Parliament before the session began on the fourth day. These included Rajnath Singh, Piyush Goyal, Anurag Thakur, Kiren Rijiju and Prahlad Joshi.
