Relatives of the deceased weeping in Lohia Hospital.
A bike artisan resident of village Usman was shot dead under the Kotwali area of Farrukhabad city. His body was found lying near the kiln. The reason for the murder could not be clarified. Police is probing the matter.

Vinod Rajput, 40, resident of village Osman Nagla, has a bike repair shop at the Central Jail intersection. He was going home on Friday night after closing the shop. Elder brother Omkar was on his way home from the farm. When he reached the turn near the kiln, some distance from the village, he saw brother Vinod lying in a pool of blood. His bike was lying nearby. Omkar took Vinod to Lohia Hospital. There the doctor declared Vinod dead.

Vinod was shot in the stomach. His brother told at Lohia Hospital that Vinod had no enmity with anyone. He used to reach home every night from the shop. He doesn’t know who killed him and why.

Additional Superintendent of Police Ajay Pratap said that information was received from Lohia Hospital that a youth resident of Usman Nagla has been shot dead. His relatives had come to Lohia Hospital with the dead body. Police is probing the matter.
