Farmers will protest against AAP on 16: Road jam in Patiala, Ferozepur, Mansa and Amritsar; allegations of neglect

The farmers of Punjab are once again preparing to protest against the AAP government. The farmers have accused the government of ignoring them. For this reason, farmers across the state will protest by blocking roads in 4 districts of Punjab on November 16.

Farmers will block roads in large numbers in Patiala, Ferozepur, Mansa and Amritsar. It was informed that thousands of farmers and workers of Ludhiana, Ropar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mohali and Patiala would block the road at Dharedi Jatta toll plaza on Patiala-Rajpura road on November 16 if the Punjab government did not implement the demands of the farmers. Similarly, farmer organizations have entrusted the responsibility of blocking the road to the farmers of different districts.

Under the leadership of Indian farmer Ekta Ugrahan, farmers staged an indefinite protest on the main road in front of CM Bhagwant Mann’s house in Sangrur last month. The farmers had placed a condition before the Punjab government to accept the demands of the farmers in writing. On this, the strike was ended on the 21st day after Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal accepted the demands of the farmers in writing. But now the farmers have again warned the government.
