Government Scheme: To double the income of farmers, the government has made several economic reforms, under which many schemes have been run by the central and state governments. In view of this, the Central Government has launched PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana), which gives 6000 rupees every year to the farmers. This amount is given to the farmers in three installments of Rs 2000-2000. However, apart from the Kisan Samman Nidhi, financial assistance is also being provided by the Madhya Pradesh government under the Kisan Kalyan Yojana.
Madhya Pradesh Government (MP Government) is giving assistance of Rs 4 thousand to the farmers under this scheme. In such a situation, under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) and Kisan Kalyan Yojana, a total assistance of Rs 10,000 is being given to the farmers of Madhya Pradesh every year.
Amount is sent in installment under Kisan Kalyan Yojana
Kisan Kalyan Yojana is a state government scheme. Under this scheme, money is transferred directly to the farmers’ account in installments of Rs 2000-2000. Money is given under this scheme at a gap of 6 months. Just in May the money was sent under this scheme and its next installment is going to come in December.
Who can take advantage
Under the Kisan Kalyan Yojana, the same farmer will be able to avail the benefits, who is associated with the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. If someone is not taking advantage of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, then he will not get the benefit of Kisan Kalyan Yojana either. Apart from this, only the residents of Madhya Pradesh will be able to take advantage of the Kisan Kalyan Yojana. If you are a resident of Madhya Pradesh and are eligible under the PM Kisan Yojana, then you will get Rs 10,000 annually.

What to do?
Under this scheme, no benefit is given to the farmers who pay tax. Along with this, farmers with high income tax will also not get the benefit of this scheme. However, if you are getting the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana, then you have to apply for Kisan Kalyan Yojana by visiting the official agriculture website of Madhya Pradesh Government.
