Hello,
Today is the 16th day of the strike of wrestlers in Delhi demanding the arrest of Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Singh. Farmers and Khap Panchayats have also reached Jantar Mantar in support of the wrestlers. He has given 15 days ultimatum to the government to arrest Brij Bhushan. 1. Brij Bhushan said – If the allegation is proved, I will hang him; Women’s organization also with wrestlers
From today, 11-11 people from each khap will reach Jantar-Manchar, they will stay with the wrestlers throughout the day. More than 2,000 policemen have been deployed in Delhi after farmers joined the wrestlers’ dharna. Wrestlers took out a candle march at Jantar Mantar on Sunday evening. 3. Hearing in Supreme Court today on Manipur violence, more than 23 thousand people were rescued
A bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud will hear today a petition seeking setting up of an SIT to probe the Manipur violence. This petition has been filed by a tribal organization. Rest of the states of the country have stepped up the campaign to rescue their students present in Manipur. On Sunday, Nagaland evacuated 676 people, Sikkim 128 and Maharashtra 22 people from Manipur.
So far 54 people have died in Manipur violence. Security forces have rescued more than 23 thousand people from all communities. There are 14 companies of security forces deployed in the state. The central government is going to send 20 more companies. Tribal communities in Manipur are opposing the demand for Schedule Tribe status to the non-tribal Meiteis. The violence had erupted following a tribal march called in protest on May 3.

4. All Women Parade on Republic Day 2024, Ministry of Defense wrote a letter to the Armed Forces
Only women can march in the Republic Day parade to be held on the duty path next year. In the last few years, the Central Government has taken several major decisions to promote gender equality in the Armed Forces, with the aim of giving command to women and preparing them for future leadership. Last month on April 29, five women officers have been inducted into the Artillery Regiment.
They have been appointed on the border of Pakistan and China. This year, in the 74th Republic Day parade held on January 26, 2023, the tableau of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Tripura had ‘Women Power’ as the main theme. 5. Syria returns to Arab League after 12 years, League meeting to be held in Saudi on May 19
