History shooter Lakhan of Haryana’s Faridabad city was shot out on Tuesday outside the court of Hapur city of Uttar Pradesh. Not one or two, but more than 20 bullets were fired on Lakhan. The firing took place while being taken to court. In which a policeman of Faridabad police was also injured in the bullet. The number of attackers is being told 3 to 4.
According to the sources of UP Police, the Faridabad Police of Haryana had reached the court at around 11.30 am with Lakhan. Lakhan was under the security cover of 5 policemen. The attackers, who were ambushed just 20 meters away from the court, started firing quickly. Thereafter the miscreants fled from the spot on foot.
The deceased history sheeter Lakhan was a resident of Anangpur village in Faridabad. 34-year-old Lakhan had serious cases like murder, rape registered and was presently lodged in Neemka Jail in Faridabad. After this shooting, ACP Crime Surendra Sheoran of Faridabad reached the spot in Hapur. Hapur’s Dhaulana police station is investigating the incident. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera. The number of attackers is being told 4. According to police sources, the attackers did not give the Faridabad police a chance to recover.

Police sources said that in the year 2019, Vijay Singh, resident of village Nangla Udayarampur of Thana Dhaulana area of Hapura, married his daughter Aarti and Jyoti with Sachin and Sagar, son of Devendra resident of Anangpur village of Faridabad. On 24 November 2019, the procession reached Nangla Udayrampur from Faridabad. In the evening, both the parties were doing the farewell program of the brides. During this, 3 armed miscreants who came riding on a bike shot dead Sudhir (40), a resident of village Anangpur, the uncle of the groom. During the firing, Sushil, Vijaypal, Karthik and Ramveer residents of village head Nangla Udayrampur were injured due to bullet injuries. Lakhan was also made an accused in this case. In the same murder case, Lakhan was produced in Hapur court on Tuesday.

Faridabad Police Spokesperson Sube Singh said that Sub-Inspector Vijay, Havildar Omprakash, constable Deepak, Narendra and Sandeep, who were part of the team of escort guard of Faridabad Police, had reached Hapur at around 11 am on Tuesday morning with the deceased Lakhan. Additional District and Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court II) was to be produced. As soon as the police team dropped Lakhan from the police van and reached the court gate, the miscreants who had already ambushed opened fire with their pistols. According to the UP Police, Lakhan got six bullets. While one bullet hit Head Constable Om Prakash. Lakhan died on the spot while head constable Om Prakash was admitted to the hospital.
Was serving sentence in rape case
Police spokesman said that the deceased Lakhan was serving his sentence in the Neemka jail in Faridabad in the rape case. A case of rape was registered against him at Surajkund police station on July 15, 2017. He was sentenced on 26 August 2019. Since then he was lodged in Neemka Jail. The spokesman said that several cases including illegal arms, fighting and illegal mining were registered against the deceased.

In this case, SP Deepak Bhukar has suspended the Kotwali in-charge of Hapur Nagar, Somvir Singh, and the court outpost in-charge Ramesh. While CO Vaibhav Pandey has been removed from the circle.
