An elderly woman, who was traveling in the general bogie of Udaipur Intercity Express train at Harpalpur in Chhatarpur district, died of suffocation in the crowd. The deceased woman was going to Jhansi with her husband brother-in-law. Due to no movement in the woman at Harpalpur station, the body was dropped at Harpalpur station. The station manager informed the GRP along with the police station Harpalpur.
70-year-old Benibai Pal husband Hardayal Dadri village is from Mahoba district, Uttar Pradesh, who was going with her husband Hardayal Pal Devar Manmohan from Kulpahar station in the general bogie of Udaipur Intercity train in Jhansi Ristedari. Due to overcrowding in the general bogie, the elderly woman’s condition suddenly deteriorated and she stopped breathing. The relatives brought down the dead body of the Harpalpur station woman and informed the station manager along with the GRP. Along with this, the police station Harpalpur was also informed about the incident.

In the matter, Harpalpur station master RK Mishra says that the train arrives at 11:26. . After reading the Panchnama, the dead body was picked up from the station at around 3:00 pm and taken to the PM. During this time from 3 to 3 and a half hours had passed.

Today was also Tuesday, due to which there is a lot of crowd in Bageswar Dham and due to the arrival of passengers, there is a lot of crowd in the trains which becomes uncontrollable. Due to which the trains were blocked between Duriaganj and Khajuraho today, due to which we and our team had to take the front here, due to which we could not go there. So talked to Harpalpur police and then they have taken action.
