Ebola Virus Outbreak in Uganda: The risk of deadly Ebola virus has increased significantly in Uganda. The Ebola virus is spreading rapidly. The death of one patient from Ebola (Ebola Virus Death) has also been confirmed. According to local health ministry officials, one person was admitted to the hospital after showing symptoms of Ebola, but the patient died on Monday. This case is of Mubende Regional Referral Hospital, where the patient was admitted.
The deceased patient is a resident of Nagabano village of Madudu sub county of Mubende district. He was admitted to the hospital after he was found to have symptoms of the virus, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Teams sent for monitoring and awareness
However, Uganda has great experience in dealing with outbreaks and epidemics of this nature. According to the Ministry of Health of Uganda, teams have been sent to Mubende district to increase surveillance and community awareness. A rapid response team has been sent to Mubende district to support the teams in contact tracing and case management. Common people are being urged to remain alert and calm.

Ebola outbreak in Uganda
The Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Tuesday that health officials have declared an Ebola outbreak in Uganda after the case was confirmed. Diana Atwin, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, said in a press conference that we want to inform the country that there is an outbreak of Ebola in the country.
What were the symptoms in a patient infected with Ebola?
Atwin, Secretary of the Ministry of Health, said that the patient who was infected with Ebola had high fever, diarrhea and abdominal pain and was vomiting blood. Initially the patient was treated for malaria. The Africa Office of the WHO said in a statement that there are currently eight suspected cases. Patients continue to be treated.
