In view of Dussehra festival in Khargone, Collector Kumar Purushottam has issued orders for magisterial duty at various places.
According to the order, Additional Collector KK Malviya and Tehsildar Mahendra Singh Dangi at Talab Chowk, Omnarayan Singh with Navagraha Mela procession from Raghuvanshi Mohalla, SDM Milind Dhoke with entire city and Ramrath, Tehsildar Yogendra Singh Maurya and Mohan Talkies area at Navagraha Mela Ground, Ravan Dahan site. Tehsildar T Vishke will be present at the post office intersection.
Police force will be deployed in urban area
Dussehra festival will be celebrated on October 5 in the district including the city. This year the effigy of Ravana will be burnt at the Navagraha Mela ground. The district administration and police department have made elaborate security arrangements for Dussehra festival.
Police is keeping an eye in the sensitive area of the urban area through drones including surveillance vehicles equipped with hi-tech cameras. Parking arrangements have been made for vehicles around the grounds.
Along with this, the journey of Lord Shri Ram, which is going out according to tradition, will be taken out through vehicles. Which will reach the fair ground via the urban area. In this regard, SHO BL Mandloi said that on the instructions of senior officers, a plan has been prepared by the police to maintain security during festivals in the urban area.
