The Metropolitan Police is investigating the matter by arresting the accused ward boy.
In the Mahanagar police station of Lucknow, a woman has accused the doctor and ward boy of Bhaurao Deoras Hospital of gang rape by injecting unconsciousness. The victim had filed an application in the court due to non-hearing at the Mahanagar police station. After which on Wednesday, the Metropolitan Police registered a case and arrested the accused ward boy.
The victim went to the government hospital for treatment, was given intoxicant injection on the pretext of checkup
A 35-year-old woman resident of Vikasnagar alleges that on April 30, she went to Bhaurao Deoras Hospital for treatment. Where Dr. RP Sagar did a checkup with Ward Boy Satya Prakash Awasthi. After that the injection was given.
The victim alleges that she fainted as soon as the injection was given. After which both of them gang-raped. When he regained consciousness, he came to know about it.
Both of them threatened to kill them when they tried to make noise. After reaching home, the family members were told the actions of the doctor and the ward boy.
Not heard at the police station, took refuge in the court
The woman alleges that after the incident, she went to the Mahanagar police station after informing the family members, but no hearing was held. The police personnel present there drove away the doctor of Bhaurao Deoras Hospital on hearing the allegations.
Even after making several rounds of the police station, he took refuge in the court for not registering the report. The court ordered registration of FIR against the accused Dr RP Sagar and Ward Boy Satya Prakash Awasthi.
Interrogation of accused ward boy in custody, search for doctor
According to Inspector Mahanagar Keshav Kumar Tiwari, while registering a case on the complaint of the woman, a case has been registered against Dr. RP Sagar and Ward Vyab Satya Prakash Awasthi.
Satya Prakash Awasthi, a resident of Rajajipuram, has been arrested and interrogated.
At the same time, information is being collected about Dr. RP Sagar. Based on the investigation of the allegations, action will be taken against the accused.
