State Electricity Board Junior Engineer Organization Madhyanchal unit was elected on Sunday. During this, engineer DK Prajapati was appointed as president and Sandeep Maurya as senior vice-president. The running of all the candidates in the election was done unanimously.
Apart from this, Ramesh Singh was appointed as Vice President, Sanjeev Verma as Secretary, Suraj Verma as Publicity Secretary, Alok Ranjan as Finance Secretary in the organization. During this election officers PK Singh and Jagdish Bharti administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed office bearers. During this, office bearers of 19 districts including Ram Iqbal, SN Patel, Arvind Kumar, Ajay Yadav were present.
Work boycott will happen on November 29
Sanjeev Verma told that if the demands of the engineers are not met soon, the work boycott will be started from 29th November. A notice to boycott work indefinitely in all energy corporations has also been sent to the Additional Chief Secretary (Energy).
Engineers told that even after repeated talks, the notice has been issued due to no positive action on their demands. It has been made clear that the employees do not want to compromise in any situation. If their demands are not met, the agitation will get bigger.
Sanjeev Verma has been elected as the secretary of the organization.
Movement will be like this before 29
- On November 17, 2022, there will be a peaceful mass satyagraha and demonstration at Shakti Bhawan headquarters in Lucknow from 10 am to 5 pm.
- Protest meeting on November 21, 2022 from 03 pm to 5 pm in all the districts and projects including capital Lucknow.
- The work movement will start from 22 November 2022 as per the rules. In this memorandum will be handed over to the honorable public representatives.
- A torchlight procession will be taken out at the headquarters on November 28 at 5 pm.
