The festival of Diwali was celebrated with pomp in Ballia. The goddess of wealth, Mahalakshmi Ganesh and Kuber were worshiped from house to house. People had their houses decorated on the bride side. In the evening, the festival was celebrated by worshiping Goddess Lakshmi and Shri Ganesh.
