District level Martyrdom Day was celebrated reverently and effectively at Police Line Fazilka. On the occasion, tributes were paid to the martyrs by the officers of Police, Civil Administration and Judiciary and the families of the martyrs.
District and Sessions Judge Jatinder Kaur, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, District Police Chief Bhupinder Singh specially participated.
On this occasion, a guard of honor was given to the martyrs by the police contingent and tribute was paid to the martyrs by observing a silence of 2 minutes. During this, SP Headquarters Mohan Lal read out the names of martyrs who received martyrdom in different states of the country.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal while paying tribute to the martyrs said that the martyrs are the head of our state and country. Their sacrifices will not be allowed to go. The martyrdom of police personnel and officers who uphold the unity and integrity of the country can never be forgotten.
The true tribute to him would be that we all become one fist and fight the anti-national forces firmly. He said that Punjab Police has made great sacrifices to maintain the unity, integrity and brotherly harmony of the country and to maintain peace in the country, which can never be forgotten. He said that it is our duty to do the work of the families of these great martyrs on the basis of initiative.
