Policemen have gone on strike in Balrampur demanding suspension of police personnel.
In Balrampur, the dispute between the police and the accountants is getting deeper. The dispute was expected to end after 5 policemen posted at Utraula Kotwali appeared on the line on Tuesday, but the Lekhpal is adamant on the demand for suspension of the policemen. The controversy has deepened after the Lekhpals across the district went on strike from Thursday.
On Thursday, the Lekhpals of Tulsipur and Balrampur Sadar of the district have also started an indefinite strike in support of their demands, while in Utraula, on the 8th day, the Lekhpals protested in the Tehsil premises. Lekhpal union district president Krishna Kumar said that the strike of the lekhpals would continue till the policemen guilty in the case were suspended.
Strike in Tulsipur and Balrampur also
He said that till now this strike was only in Utraula tehsil, but even after a week, the guilty policemen have not been suspended. In protest against this strike has also been started in Tulsipur and Balrampur and the fight will continue till the victim Lekhpal gets justice.
Terrible chaos in Tehsil
There was a dispute between the Lekhpals and the police on the night of 13 October when the Lekhpals, in search of a suspect, had gone to the police barrack of Kotwali Utraula in search of him. After that, when there was a dispute between the two, the police beat up the Lekhpals fiercely. After that the Lekhpals went on strike demanding suspension of the guilty policemen. Due to the strike of the Lekhpals, there is chaos in the horrific flood in Tehsil Utraula.
The protest will continue till the suspension
Now after the lekhpals of Tulsipur and Balrampur Sadar started the strike, the possibility of the situation getting worse has increased. On the other hand, on the demand of the accountants, the Additional Superintendent of Police made five police personnel on the line on Tuesday. The lekhpals allege that the protest will continue to demand the suspension of the guilty policemen.
