Dipika Chikhlia touched Arun Govil’s feet on stage, told him the lord of his life


Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10: ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ Season 10 Diwali In the special episode, Ramayan stars Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia are special guests. In a new promo of the show, they are seen reviving their roles as Ram and Sita and walking down the memory lane as they recite iconic dialogues from Ramanand Sagar’s show.

The video begins with Dipika Chikhlia touching Arun Govil’s feet. They recreate their old chemistry on stage along iconic lines. Arun, in the form of Ram, questions Dipika about touching her feet, for which he calls her ‘Parameshwar (Supreme God)’. She also urged Rama to share his teachings and called herself his maidservant.

Arun as Ram replies, “My first request is not to remain as my maidservant. Go with me as my consort, friend, friend and companion.” He requested her to guide him when needed. He also promised her, “There will never be another woman in Ram’s life” and told him how he made the same decision after seeing her for the first time at Pushpa Vatika.


The judges of the show Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Nora Fatehi are seen smiling while listening to the iconic dialogues of the show. Responding to the promo video, a fan wrote in the comments section, “Fantastic..Dil ko kuch sukh sa milta hai, It’s been a long time since I watched this scene from Ramayan.” Another fan said, “No special effects, no tam-jham… Still felt the divine romance.”

Let us inform here that Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia make an iconic couple in the history of TV shows. They appeared in Ramayana as Rama and Sita. Written, produced and directed by Ramanand Sagar, the show aired on Doordarshan in 1987.
