Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that proper treatment should be available in government hospitals for the patients suffering from dengue.

Seeing the increasing dengue crisis in the state, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak himself is in the fray to handle the situation. Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister has said that there is no panic about dengue. While saying that platelet count down is not only linked to dengue, where is he that even after viral fever, there is a drop in platelets at times.

The Deputy CM said that in case of fever, immediately go to the nearest government health center and get treatment. He claimed that after the efforts of treatment, prevention and awareness in the state, dengue cases have come down significantly this time as compared to last year.

The figure of 7 thousand crossed, the maximum number of cases in these districts

Where in the Deputy CM, this time till November 1, a total of 7 thousand 134 cases of dengue have been reported in the state, whereas in the year 2021 there were 29 thousand 750 cases. This year, 1 thousand 171 cases have been reported in Prayagraj, 1 thousand 58 cases in Lucknow, 513 cases in Ghaziabad, 458 cases in Ayodhya and 371 cases in Jaunpur in the most affected districts of the state this year.

Notice sent to 8 thousand 775 houses

The Deputy Chief Minister informed that the Health and Urban Development Department is working continuously for the prevention of dengue disease. So far 3 crore 73 lakh houses have been visited in dengue affected areas of the state. Notices have been issued to 8 thousand 775 people for finding mosquito-borne conditions.

Dengue wards have been identified and made functional at all district level hospitals and community health centres. Fever help desks have been set up in hospitals. 52 Component Separation Units are operational in 29 districts. Free test for dengue and chikungunya is being done.
