Demonstration of Himachal Kisan Congress in Delhi: Dozens of farmers from Hamirpur took part in protest rally, raised slogans

Office bearers and other members of Himachal Kisan Congress participated in the Jan Aakrosh Rally organized by All India Kisan Congress at Jantar Mantar, Delhi on Friday. In this rally, slogans were raised against the anti-farmer policies of the central government.

Himachal unit president Sohan Verma has said that more than 5 dozen farmers of the state took part in the rally in which All India Kisan Congress President Sukhpal Singh Khaira was present. Under his guidance, the Janakrosh rally was organized in protest against the anti-farmer policies of the central government.

Agriculture business will be brought under MNREGA
He said that the promise of minimum support price and doubling the income of farmers by 2022 by the Modi government at the Center turned out to be just a jumla. When the government comes under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi in 2024, agriculture business will be brought under MNREGA and the loan of farmers will be waived and provision of minimum support price will be made.
