Delhi Police team reached Manikarna in Himachal Pradesh in connection with the investigation of Delhi’s famous Shraddha murder case. Here the team investigated the people contact history of Shraddha and her murder accused Aftab. A three-member police team also reached the guest house where Shraddha and Aftab were staying. A Delhi Police team comprised of two sub-inspectors and a head constable.

Aftab and Shraddha had come to visit Himachal on 6th April this year. Both stayed in Manikarna valley of Kullu district for three days. The two stayed at the White Lotus Guest House and Restaurant in Manikarna on April 6 and 8, while the two spent the night of April 7 in a tent in the adjacent Kutla forest. On 8th April both returned from Manikarna Valley.

Documents seized from guest house
The Delhi Police team reached Manikarna here to collect information about Aftab’s behavior etc. Where did both of them go from here? This is also being ascertained. The police have taken possession of documents related to the stay of both of them from White Lotus Guest House and Restaurant. The police took them with them.

Questions and answers from other people of the valley as well
Narendra Kumar, the director of White Lotus Guest House and Restaurant, told that the police officers who came from Delhi asked many questions regarding the stay and other activities of Aftab and Shraddha. He gave all the information from his side. Narendra told that the Delhi Police team also questioned many other people in Manikarna about Aftab.

Booked the room through Booking.com
Aftab and Shraddha had booked the room at White Lotus Guest House and Restaurant through online website booking.com. Both made the payment online as well. Guest house owner Narendra told that both stayed in his guest house for two days while both of them spent one night in a tent in the forest. Both the tents were booked at their own level.

No information to local police
The Delhi Police neither informed the Himachal Police about this visit nor took any help from the local police. After two days of investigation, the team returned to Delhi. Kullu’s SSP Gurdev Sharma told that he has no information about the arrival of Delhi Police. By the way, it is not even necessary to inform the local police in such a case.
