Coronavirus News: Corona cases are once again frightening in the country. Along with the increase in cases, now cases of death are also being recorded every day. Last day (April 4) one person died of corona in the capital Delhi. At the same time, with the arrival of 711 cases in Maharashtra, 4 people died due to corona. Corona has increased the tension in Uttarakhand. A total of three people have died here in 20 days.
In Punjab too, once again the effect of Corona has started appearing. In the state, the Health Ministry released the figures of the last 24 hours and told that two people died of corona in Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar. At the same time, 38 new cases were registered. According to the data released on Tuesday (April 4), out of 9 corona patients who died across the country, two deaths each occurred from Delhi and Punjab, one death each from Jammu-Kashmir, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand.
Earlier, on Monday (April 3), 3641 fresh corona virus Cases were registered and a total of 11 deaths occurred. In this, three patients died from Maharashtra and one each in Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka and Rajasthan. It also includes four death cases issued by Kerala. An official of the Ministry of Health said that Kovid cases are increasing continuously in the country. However, there has not been much increase in the number of hospitalizations.
Vaccination and Recovery
According to the website of the Union Ministry, so far 220.66 crore doses of Kovid vaccine have been given in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign. The number of people recovering from Corona has increased to 4,41,77,204, while the death rate has been recorded at 1.19 percent. According to the Union Health Ministry, the daily positivity rate for Covid-19 currently stands at 6.1 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate has reached 2.4 per cent.
Delhi-Maharashtra figures
A large number of new cases are coming up in Delhi, Maharashtra. On Tuesday, 521 new cases of corona have been found in Delhi, 216 patients were cured and one patient died. On Tuesday, 711 new cases of infection were reported in Maharashtra, out of which 218 were found in Mumbai. Four people have also died due to infection in the last 24 hours in the state. There have been 11 deaths in the state in the last seven days.
