Most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim had also married second time in Pakistan. Ali Shah, son of Dawood’s sister Haseena Parkar, has made this disclosure in front of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Ali told the agency that Dawood has not yet divorced his first wife Mehjabeen and is currently living in Karachi.
Ali gave this statement before the NIA in September 2022. After this, NIA raided many places and arrested many people associated with Dawood’s network. After this, the agency also presented the charge sheet before the court.

1. Wanted to divert attention of agencies from Mahjabeen
According to the documents, Ali told the NIA that Dawood had got married for the purpose of diverting the attention of the investigating agencies from his first wife. Ali went to Dubai in July 2022 in connection with his work. There he met Mahjabeen. In this meeting itself, Mahjabeen told that Dawood had remarried. Mahjabeen talks to her relatives in India over WhatsApp calls.
2. Dawood is living in Defense area of Karachi
Ali told that Dawood Ibrahim is living in Karachi only. He remained in the defense area near Ghazi Baba Dargah. The NIA had claimed that Dawood has been sending huge sums of money through hawala channels to the accused, who have been helping D Company in terror conspiracies in India.
3. Married to a Pakistani woman, she is a Pathan
Ali Shah said that Dawood has married a Pakistani woman. He is a Pathan. While Mahjabeen is an Indian and a resident of Mumbai. During interrogation, Dawood’s brother Iqbal Kaskar had told that Mahjabeen had also come to Mumbai to meet her father.
4. Dawood was showing that he got divorced, but this fact is wrong
Ali Shah had given a statement that Dawood was pretending that he has divorced Mahjabeen, but this is a wrong fact. He has three daughters. Their names are Marukh, Mehreen and Majia. Has a son named Moeen Nawaz. Mahjabeen talks to Ali Shah’s wife about festivals. She talks to him through WhatsApp call.
Dawood attended nephew’s wedding through video calling
Ali Shah was married in August 2016 to Ayesha Ali Shah, daughter of a Mumbai-based businessman. This wedding ceremony lasted only one and a half hours and 100 people participated in it. After this the family hosted a reception in a hotel.
The police feared that Dawood would attend the wedding through video call. Media reports claimed that the reception was live streamed for Dawood sitting in Karachi.
