Cultural activities, local skills will get a boost from Smart Auditorium: Commissioner reviews, orders to complete construction by December

Smart auditorium is being constructed to promote the cultural activities of the city, the skills of artists, local workers in the Smart City project. The commissioner held a meeting with the officers.

On the orders of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a smart auditorium is being built in the Smart City project to promote the cultural activities of the city, the skills of artists and local workers.

There will be a seating arrangement for 400 people in the smart auditorium being built at a cost of 32.96 crores in Government Inter College of Civil Lines. The construction work of more than half of the auditorium has been completed. On the orders of the Chief Minister, the ambitious projects of the government, the commissioner of the project under construction, Bareilly Mandal Samyukta Samaddar is reviewing daily.

On Monday, the commissioner reviewed the smart auditorium being built in the smart city project. After this, the pace of construction of the auditorium will increase. The commissioner has given an ultimatum to the working body to complete the construction of the auditorium by December 2022.

The company will be blacklisted for not completing the work on time

Commissioner Sanyukta Samaddar appeared in full action mode on Monday. He said that all the projects which are the priority of the government should be completed within the stipulated time. The pace of the Smart City project was slow in the past.

However, for the last one month, due to the commissioner’s review every day, the pace of construction works has gained momentum. The commissioner said that the executing agencies that do not complete the construction work within the stipulated time will be blacklisted. He also directed to take disciplinary action against them.

Smart city ranking increased due to commissioner’s efforts

The ranking of Bareilly Smart City was running very poorly till the last days. Smart city projects were progressing at a slow pace. Due to lack of pace in construction, the ranking of smart cities was falling. Taking the ranking of Smart City as a challenge, Commissioner Bareilly Division Sanyukta Samaddar started monitoring it on priority basis.

He visited the spot to know the reality of the construction works being done under Smart City and understood the problems. The commissioner brainstormed with the concerned officers from morning till night to resolve them. In collaboration with all the officials, the works of smart city projects were done with team spirit. Due to which the ranking of smart city has reached from 64 to 44 rank in the state.

National level seminars will be held in Smart Auditorium

State and national level seminars will be held in the smart auditorium being built under the Smart City project. Air conditioned 400 seater grand building. Parking is being arranged for more than 120 cars.

From mic sound to auditorium, the entire look will be 3D. Apart from this, state-of-the-art 3D screens and sound systems for seminars are being installed. In the meeting of the commissioner’s board of directors, it was decided to take out of the 63 projects under the smart city scheme, 2 projects, the work of Rajiv Colony drain and the construction work of Subhash Nagar over bridge from the smart city project and 62 projects were reviewed.

Construction of two smart toilets

The commissioner decided to construct two smart toilets under Smart City, which should be constructed after identifying the land for construction in Sadar Tehsil and Vikas Bhawan. He directed all the smart city officials to bring speedy progress in the construction works of the projects to be constructed.

E-kiosk should be made in place of old BDA office

The commissioner said that the tender process should be started for purchasing the goods of Rifle Club. He was instructed to make models of the ongoing development works of Bareilly Smart City. He directed the BDA VC to identify the land for the construction of e-kiosk at the place of DD Puram and old BDA office.
