Imran Khan: There was a murderous attack on Imran Khan yesterday. In this he was narrowly saved. Despite this, his party PTI has announced that the ongoing independence march, demanding mid-term elections, will continue. The party also held nationwide protests after the Friday prayers.
A gunman tried to target Imran Khan during a protest march in Wazirabad area of Pakistan’s Punjab province. Khan was shot in the leg. One person has also died in this attack. Khan’s party claims that it was an attempt to assassinate Imran Khan. PTI General Secretary Asad Umar tweeted that the protests would continue till their demands were met. Umar told that after the Friday prayers, there have been protests across the country.

Asad Umar did not say anything explicitly about the demands being made by Imran Khan, but Khan is demanding for mid-term elections on the present government. PTI leader Imran Khan started the Hakiki Azadi March on 28 October to put pressure on the Shahbaz Sharif-led government.

1 person killed 7 injured in attack
A senior party leader Fawad Chaudhry alleged that the attack was an attempt to kill Khan and he narrowly escaped. Attack any nine mm Not with a pistol but with an automatic weapon. Khan had started the Hakiki Azadi March on 28 October from Lahore with the aim of reaching Islamabad by November 4, but due to the change in the program of the protest, the march is now likely to reach Islamabad by November 11.
Rally not yet allowed
Let us tell you that till now the Shahbaz Sharif-led government has not allowed PTI workers led by Khan to hold a rally in the capital. Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court has reserved its verdict on a petition allowing a protest rally in the capital. The attacker who attacked Khan was arrested and a video of a confession has also been released.
