Counseling for admission in MBBS course from October 11: Medical college will be allowed the next session only after giving information of patients to NMC

All government and private medical colleges will have to give complete information about the patients coming to their hospital. The information will have to be given to the National Medical Commission (NMC) through the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). In this, it has to be told that how many patients have come to the hospital for treatment, how many are admitted.

NMC has directed medical colleges to implement HMIS. In this direction, NMC has written a letter to the director, principal and dean of all medical colleges. It has been directed to share the HMIS system with the NMC in the hospital by October 10, in any case, so that information about patients and other facilities can be received.

If HMIS system is not in the hospital then implement it without delay. NMC has said that permission will be given for increasing seats in medical colleges and starting new courses only on the basis of the information given by them. Even if you want to increase the seats, start new courses or continue it, then you will have to provide complete information not through affidavit but through HMIS system.

MBBS admission counseling from 11
The counseling for admission to MBBS course in session 2022 will start from October 11, which will continue till October 28. Enrollment can be done till 28 October. The second round of counseling will be held from November 2 to 10 and admission will be held till November 18.

The counseling for the mop round will be held from November 23 to December 1 and the last date for admission will be December 10. Apart from this, counseling for the remaining vacant seats will be held from December 12 to 14 and admission will be available till December 20.
