With the beginning of the month of April, once again the number of corona infected patients is increasing. In the last 24 hours, 47 corona positive patients have been identified. For the first time this year, so many positive patients have been identified in a single day. With this, now the number of active patients has increased to 155. At the same time, the report of 11 students in the Girls Hostel of Dhamtari has come together as Corona positive.
47 cases for the first time this year
In fact, 1458 samples have been tested in Chhattisgarh on Monday. Out of this, 47 persons have been found corona infected. With this, the average positivity rate of the state has increased to 3.22 percent. On the other hand, there was a stir in Dhamtari regarding Corona on Monday. On complaining of cold and cough in the girls’ hostel of the city, they were brought to the hospital for testing, where 11 girl students have been found corona positive in the antigen test. After this, the health department has kept all the students separately for precaution. Rest of the girl students of the hostel are also being tested.
13 student positive in girls hostel
On Monday, corona infected patients were found from 10 districts of the state. Maximum 14 cases were reported from the capital Raipur. Apart from this, 01-01 from Balod and Surguja districts, 02-02 from Mahasamund, Bemetara, Kanker, Kondagaon and Durg, 08 from Rajnandgaon and 13 from Dhamtari district have been found corona infected. However, no new case has come to the fore in the rest of the districts. At the same time, it is a matter of relief that there are no active patients of Corona in 13 districts of the state.
Corona cases are increasing in these districts
In the last 24 hours, 5 corona positive patients have recovered, but the number of active patients is increasing rapidly. On February 16, the number of corona positive patients in the state was zero, but now since the last week of March, the pace of corona has increased. Corona cases are seen increasing rapidly in the last 15 days. In no time, the number of active patients has increased to 155 in the state. In this, the maximum number of active patients are in the capital Raipur. Talking about district-wise figures, there are 16 active patients in Durg, Rajnandgaon 13, Raipur 53, Dhamtari 19 and Bilaspur.
