Coronavirus Cases in India: Corona cases are increasing every day in the country. Union Ministry of Health (Union Health Ministry) According to the data released on Saturday (April 22), 12,193 fresh cases of Kovid have been reported in the last 24 hours. After this, now the number of active patients (Corona Active Cases) in the country has increased to 67 thousand 556.
According to the Ministry’s data updated at 8 am, the death toll due to Kovid 19 stood at 42. After this, the total death toll due to corona in the country has gone up to 5 lakh 31 thousand 300. Kerala alone includes 10 patients in the deaths in the last 24 hours.
Corona death rate increased to 1.18 percent
So far, the number of corona cases in the country has increased to 4,48,81,877. According to the website of the Ministry of Health, the national corona recovery rate was recorded at 98.66 percent. The number of people recovering from the disease has increased to 4,42,83,021, while the death rate was recorded at 1.18 percent. So far 220.66 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given to people across the country.
Corona situation in Haryana and Punjab
- Talking about Haryana, the cases of corona in the state have once again started increasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, 1378 new cases of corona have been found. Now the number of active cases of corona has increased to 5468 in Haryana.
- In Punjab too, Corona is gaining momentum again. In the last 24 hours, 411 new patients have been found in Punjab. Here the number of active cases has reached 1995. One person died of corona on Friday in Jalandhar, Punjab. With this, the death toll has reached 229.
