Confirming this, CMHO of Jabalpur Dr. Sanjay Mishra said that the woman’s sample will be sent to DRDO lab Gwalior for genome sequencing to test for the new variant of Coronavirus. For this, the health department will again take the sample of the woman tomorrow on Friday. The contact history of the woman’s husband and her child will also be scrutinized by taking samples.
Quarantine done to the woman, the family will also be investigated
According to CMHO Dr. Mishra, the woman found corona infected had reached Delhi from America on 23 December. After this, she came to meet her parents in Bilhari area of Jabalpur via Agra. Due to cold and cough, she got corona test done on Wednesday, December 28, the report of which was received today. The corona report of the woman has come positive, after which she has been isolated at home. According to Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sanjay Mishra, along with the woman, her husband and child have also come to Jabalpur, whose samples for corona test will be taken on Friday. The woman’s sample will also be taken again for genome sequencing. He said that the Health Department is also looking for the contact history of this family who returned from America.
