Coronavirus Cases in India: In the last 24 hours, 6,809 cases of Coronavirus were reported in the country. These cases are slightly less than the previous day. With the arrival of 6,809 new cases of Kovid-19 in a day, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 44 lakh 56 thousand 535. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Sunday, the number of active cases of corona has come down to 55,114.
According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 26 more people have died due to corona infection. The number of people who died due to corona in the country so far has increased to 5 lakh 27 thousand 991, including those five cases from Kerala, which have been included in the figures after confirmation.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of patients under treatment is 0.12 percent of the total cases of infection, while the national rate of those recovering from Kovid-19 has increased to 98.69 percent. In the last 24 hours, there has been a decrease in the number of active cases by 1,631. The number of corona virus infected in the country had exceeded 20 lakh on 7 August 2020, 30 lakh on 23 August 2020 and 40 lakh on 5 September 2020.
When and how many cases increased?
The total cases of corona infection in the country crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, Kovid-19 (Covid-19) cases in the country had exceeded one crore. Last year, on May 4, the number of infected had crossed 20 million and on June 23, 2021, it had crossed 30 million. On January 25 this year, the cases of infection had crossed four crores.
