Corona blast has taken place in Naxal-affected Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh and the report of 18 children has come positive during the Kovid investigation in a hostel here. It is being told that all these children are studying in the children’s ashram located in Hingum and Chhote Palli villages of Bhairamgarh block. The first 3 children were taken to Bijapur Hospital after their health suddenly deteriorated, where as a precaution, they were tested for corona, in which the test report of all three came positive, after which a medical team was immediately sent to both the boys’ hostel and where during the investigation Out of 89 children, the report of 15 children has also come positive. All the children have been quarantined under the supervision of doctors.
Sandeep Kashyap, Medical Officer, Bhairamgarh Block, said that after the health of three minor children studying in Hingum Ashram deteriorated, they were taken to the hospital for treatment and here they were tested for corona and during the investigation, all three children were found positive in the antigen report. After getting the information, immediately a medical team was sent to Hingum Ashram and Chhote Palli Hostel, here the whole child was tested for corona, out of total 89 children, the report of 15 children came positive, the health of all these children was bad.
All the children infected are minors and as a precautionary measure, all 15 children and three other children have been quarantined under the supervision of doctors, along with instructions have been given to the superintendents to use masks and sanitizers for all the children in the ashram.
The Block Medical Officer said that the team of doctors is keeping a close watch on the ashram and instructions have also been issued to provide immediate treatment in case of deterioration of health. He said that there is another ashram in the block where a medical team will be sent to investigate. At present, all the children are being quarantined and are being taken good care of.
Dengue outbreak in two blocks of the district
Here, 264 corona infected patients have been identified in the entire Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, in view of the increasing number of corona patients, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also given instructions to increase corona testing in the entire state, at present there are 727 cases of corona in the entire state. There is an active patient and it is being told that this figure is expected to increase further on Wednesday, there is already an outbreak of dengue in Bhopalpatnam and Tarlaguda blocks of Bijapur district, in such a situation, the health department has been informed about children being infected with corona in ashrams. There is a stir.
