Jaipur resident Mahesh Chandra (36) and his wife Shalu (32) were married in the year 2015. Two years later they had a daughter. But with the echoing of Kilkiris in the house, a fight started between the two.
Distressed, Shalu started living in her parental house. Seeing no way out, Shalu also filed a dowry harassment case against Mahesh. The police investigated and presented a challan against Mahesh. Shalu was at her maternal home.
Now the second part of this story begins, which comes in the form of death of Shalu and her brother on 5th October. Shalu was going to visit the temple with her cousin by bike. An SUV hits the bike on the way. Both die in the accident. Under the leadership of SHO Haripal Singh, the team reaches the spot, a case of accident is registered and in the same perspective the police starts taking further action.
But when Constable Dayaram reached the spot with the team, some other questions were arising in his mind. At the time of the accident, the road was empty and the bike was also on the side. Then how did both of them die? While the police was assuming it to be an accident, Constable Dayaram started searching for the links.

Two months had passed. People started forgetting the death of Shalu and her aunt’s son Raju as an accident. But Dayaram was looking for that clue. They came to know that Mahesh had told his wife Shalu that to fulfill her vow, she would have to make 16 rounds of the Samod temple.
Dayaram got suspicious but neither got any clue nor any link. Dayaram started keeping an eye on Mahesh’s every activity. During this, he came to know that Mahesh had recently got Shalu insured for 1.90 crores.
This was the first episode of this case and also a big question. Why did Mahesh get Shalu insured when their relationship was on the verge of ending? Not only this, Mahesh was busy in getting his claim.
After this, on the basis of Dayaram’s suspicion, the police also got the mobile recordings of Shalu and Mahesh removed. In which the last conversation of both was on the day of the accident. This was surprising.
Mahesh tells Shalu in it that she must message him before leaving the house for the temple. The police also came to know that at the time of the incident, Mahesh was also keeping an eye around Shalu’s house. As soon as Shalu came out with her cousin, Mahesh informed someone about it.
The police now had strong evidence to arrest Mahesh. Mahesh was now behind bars but till now the accident or murder could not be proved. But what Mahesh told in the interrogation of the police was no less than a thriller film. On the basis of Mahesh’s statements, the police also nabbed history-sheeters Mukesh and Sonu Rakesh Bairwa.
Now the real truth of this whole scandal had come to the fore. Mahesh had got his wife Shalu insured for Rs 1.90 crore in May and the first installment was Rs 29406. Conspiracy to murder hatched after 4 months of getting insurance.
Contract for murder was given for 10 lakhs. Rs 5 lakh was given as advance to criminal Mukesh by mortgaging Shalu’s jewellery. It was decided to give the rest of the money after getting the insurance amount. As per the hatched conspiracy, these criminals along with her brother crushed Shalu with their safari car while going to the temple.
