Clash between farmers and police in Ambala: Leaders adamant on going to Mahapanchayat of wrestlers in Delhi; bumped into

Members of BKU Shaheed Bhagat Singh clashed with the police in Ambala. After which the atmosphere there remains tense.

Before the Mahila Mahapanchayat held in Delhi in support of the wrestlers, a ruckus started in Haryana. The police is arresting the farmers going to participate in the mahapanchayat. At the same time, there was a scuffle between the police and the farmers who were going to march to Delhi in Ambala. The situation in Ambala remains tense.

Farmers are sitting on the service road in front of Shahpur Gurudwara by spreading a carpet. Through the video, maximum number of women and farmers have been called from the villagers of nearby villages to reach in front of Shahpur Gurudwara.

On the other hand, the farmers associated with other farmer organizations including Bhartiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni Group) have been put under house arrest by the police. Kurukshetra police has taken BKU president Gurnam Singh Chadhuni into custody.

Farmer and police face to face since Saturday night
There, farmers and police are face to face outside Gurdwara Manji Sahib (Ambala). Police is trying to stop the farmers. On the other hand, the farmers are adamant about marching to Delhi. The police have stopped the farmers at Gurudwara Manji Sahib. Not only this, a heavy police force has been deployed outside the Gurdwara barricaded on the Delhi-Chandigarh National Highway.

Farmer leaders say that they want to go to Delhi in support of the wrestlers who make the country proud, but the government is trying to protect a sexual abuse accused. Due to which today Gurudwara Manji Sahib of Ambala has been surrounded from all sides, so that he cannot travel to Delhi.

SP said – action will be taken against the instigators
Ambala’s SP Jashandeep Singh Randhawa said that today is the inauguration of the new Parliament House and some organizations have also organized their own program there, but for the sake of security, concrete arrangements have been made in the surrounding areas of Delhi.

The SP appealed and said that cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order in the district. Strict action will be taken against those who block public roads, spread rumours, post provocative posts on social media, disturb law and order.
