Corona In China: Corona continues to wreak havoc in China. Even now thousands of people are dying due to Corona. Despite this, China is taking many such decisions regarding Corona which can increase even more problems for it. China will end the quarantine for foreign travelers from today. Along with this, it will also fully open its airports and ports for travel and trade. This decision has been taken at a time when the cases of corona are increasing continuously in the country.
From March 2020 till now, all foreign travelers had to undergo quarantine at a centralized government facility. It was reduced from three weeks to one week this summer and five days in November. Now it has been decided to end it completely. Earlier, passengers coming from any country were forced to pass through the quarantine here.
Zero Kovid policy was also abolished
Earlier, China had completely abolished the zero covid policy amidst the uproar of the people. Since then, an increase in corona cases was seen. There were massive protests here regarding the Corona restrictions. Even the protesters had demanded the resignation of President Xi Jinping. The purpose of the Zero Covid policy was to isolate every corona infected person.
After the announcement by the authorities last month, Chinese people started planning to travel abroad. However, many countries have imposed restrictions on passengers coming from China because the corona in China has reached a very bad condition. Earlier, on Saturday (January 7), the Chinese government had ordered the release of those detained for cases related to Kovid.
