China Earthquake News: A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck China’s Sichuan Province on Monday, killing at least 65 people. China had the strongest earthquake in the region since 2017. Which shook the Chengdu area, 226 km southwest of Luding city, the epicenter of the earthquake. Serious questions have been raised about the brutality of the Chinese government during the earthquake.
The brutality of the Chinese government can be clearly seen in the video that surfaced after the earthquake. At the time, buildings were shaking due to a magnitude 6.6 earthquake in China. The government did not allow people to come out of their homes. Due to which many people died.
People were stopped at the gate of the building
Many videos of people’s helplessness during the earthquake started going viral on social media. In one such video, a message is being given to the people through loudspeakers that everyone should return to their respective homes, do not crowd here, it is only an earthquake. We have a lot of experience with earthquakes here in Sichuan province. Another man told the BBC he ran out of his 30-storey building when the quake struck but was stopped at the building’s gate.

Questions raised on the Kovid restrictions of the Chinese government
One person quoted a lawyer in relation to this incident, in which he said that citizens have the freedom to go anywhere for their safety as per the constitution. Let us tell you that due to Corona virus in China, strict lockdown is being imposed in different parts for the last one and a half years. According to China’s Kovid policy, strict lockdown is imposed in that city for at least 21 days if a single patient of corona is found in any city. During these, if any new corona patient comes forward, then the lockdown is again extended for 21 days. People are not allowed to step out of the house during the lockdown. The Chinese government is accused of not allowing people to come out of their homes despite the aftershocks of the strong earthquake on Monday.
