China: Xi Jinping has become the President of China for the third time. President Xi Jinping will lead the country along with the leaders of China’s powerful 6 in a meeting held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. These leaders have been promoted to the Politburo Standing Committee. Along with Xi, Wang Huning and Zhao Leji have also retained their positions in the PSC. According to the new list released by Chinese media, no woman is included in this list. For the first time in 25 years, there is no woman named in the top leadership of a committee member.

Xi is seen as a prince because of his background as the son of revolutionary stalwart Xi Zhongxun, one of the party’s founders. Xi has spent time in the provinces of Shaanxi, Hebei, Fujian and Zhejiang, as well as the city of Shanghai. He is China’s most powerful leader since the presidency of Mao Zedong. How members are selected, know the process

During the CCP meeting, party members voted for the new Central Committee. There are 205 members in this committee, of which 11 are women. This committee selects the members of the Politburo. After the meeting is over, the Central Committee meets. In this, 25 members of the Politburo and 7 members of the Standing Committee are elected.
