Children were enthralled in the “Mere Ram” fancy dress competition organized by Janakpuri Mahotsav Samiti on Sunday. Children gave more than one performance in the forms of Lord Shri Ram and Mata Janaki, Hanumanji, Ravana etc. The program was organized at Jatin Resort located on Sheetla Mata Marg. 70 participants in the age group of 4 to 12 years took part in the fancy dress competition. The children staged various deities and mythological characters including Lord Rama, Mata Sita, Hanumanji, Mata Shabari, Brahmarshi Narad, Guru Vashistha, Kevat. Along with this, he won everyone’s heart by reading the quadruped.

The jury judged Dhun Gupta, Ayansh Chaudhary and Vatsalya Johri in the age group of 4 to 6 years, Avani Gupta, Navya Gupta and Saanvi Agarwal in the age group of 7 to 9 years, Nirbhaya Verma, Ananya Chauhan in the age group of 10 to 12 years. and Omansh Johri were declared the first, second and third winners respectively. They were also given prizes and gifts. Participation certificates were given to all the participants.
