Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez is expected to be fit for the Premier League clash against Manchester City this weekend.
The Blues returned to winning ways on Monday night with a convincing 4-1 win over Spurs who were down to nine men before the hour mark.
Fernandez started the game from the defensive midfield role but he asked to be substituted in the second half with an ankle problem.
It is now reported that the midfielder has been nursing the concern for a while and it is nothing serious to keep him out of action.
The Argentine is due to make the matchday squad to face the Cityzens this weekend before reporting for World Cup qualifier duty.
Fernandez is currently a key player for club and country. He has shown exceptional recovery levels and rarely misses a game.
