Chelsea have made a final transfer offer of €20m to sign Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
The west London giants want to bring in a new striker before the transfer deadline, and Aubameyang is the main target for them.
Thomas Tuchel knows him from their time together at Borussia Dortmund, and the German is reportedly keen on a reunion with him.
According to Sport, the Blues have now made a final offer of €20 million for Aubameyang and the proposal is likely to be accepted.
Barcelona wanted a package of around €30 million for their striker, but they have changed their stance with the need to register Jules Kounde.
Kounde is their only summer signing that has yet to be registered. The club need to recoup around €18 million from player sales to do so.
Aubameyang’s departure would be ideal to satisfy their requirements and it appears a matter of time before he makes the switch to Chelsea.
