Preparations for the resettlement of cheetahs that went extinct 72 years ago in the country are almost complete and cheetahs from Namibia and Africa are likely to be shifted to the Kuno National Park in September this month.

During his visit to Sheopur on Monday, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said in a press conference that the gift of African cheetahs to the country will be given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For which we have completed the preparation. It is being ensured to bring cheetahs this month, and we all wish that this important project should be started from the lotus feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for which all arrangements are being made. Although the date has not been decided yet, we have requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and after his approval, the process of settling African cheetahs in the Kuno National Park will be completed.
