The complainant says that accused Vinod Kaushik started talking to Pradeep Rawat through WhatsApp with a girl working near him in a planned manner. Later, the girl filed a false case of rape against Pradeep Rawat at Mahila Thana Central on October 18. When we talked to the girl, she said that you should talk to Dr. Vinod Kaushik in this regard. Vinod Kaushik called the girl to his cabin and talked and both demanded a flat in lieu of cancellation of the rape case. When the victim expressed his inability, both agreed to cancel the case by taking Rs 5 lakh.
Police caught both of them after planning
On the complaint of the victim, the DCP ordered the two to be caught red handed. On this, the SGM Nagar Police made a plan by making ten bundles of 500-500 and made a strategy to note down their numbers and give them to the accused. Police put the bundle of notes in a pink colored plastic bag and handed it over to the complainant. After this the complainant reached inside Kaushik physiotherapy with a pack of notes and gave the money. After waiting for some time, the complainant came out of the clinic and gestured. The police team went to the clinic and overpowered Dr Kaushik and the girl. On asking for the name address, the accused gave his name as Dr Vinod Kaushik resident of 5E-49 NIT and girl resident of Jawahar Colony. During the search of the cabin, 10 bundles of 500-500 notes were recovered from inside the polythene. Police have registered a case against both of them and arrested them. Police station in-charge Sandeep Kumar says that both the accused were presented in the court from where they got bail.
