In a recent interview, the actor Charu Asopa shared how she is constantly judged for her glamorous photoshoots and revealing clothes as she is a single mother to daughter Ziana. Charu Asopa opened up about how she lost her pregnancy weight within a year-and-a-half of her daughter’s birth. She also hit back at trolls judging her just because she is a mom. Charu said that she used to wear similar clothes earlier also, but now that she is separated from actor Rajeev Sen, she is judged for her fashion choices. Charu also said she has lost 10 kilos in four months, and is looking slimmer than ever.
“When you are a mother, there’s judgment that you can’t wear revealing clothes. Some people comment that ‘Jaise jaise divorce ka date paas aa raha hai, wise wise kapde chote hote ja rahe hain (as the divorce date is getting near, her clothes are getting shorter)’. I used to wear such clothes before as well but then it was fine. But now it’s not because I am a single mother. If I am wearing such clothes, it doesn’t mean I don’t love my daughter. People say leave all this, focus on the kid,” Charu told ETimes.
The actor further spoke about how ‘you can’t judge someone’s character based on their clothes’. Charu said, “I don’t know where such comments come from and what’s the mentality of such people. Or people have been fed this that if you become a mother, you should forget living your life. When a child is born, the mother is born with her. I can be a friend to Ziana as well besides being her mother, so she could share everything with me. You don’t have to live life a certain way. And you can’t judge someone’s character based on their clothes.”
Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen married in 2019 and welcomed their daughter in 2021. However, soon rumors of their separation began doing the rounds. Last year, the couple was on the verge of separation, but decided to give their marriage a second chance. But now they have decided to part ways once again.
