Change of religion of children in child shelter: Name changed in Aadhaar card as well, National President of Child Commission gave instructions for FIR

The case of religious conversion of three children has come to light in Raisen district. The case pertains to the Shishu Griha (NGO) located in the town of Goharganj. The religion of the children was converted here. It is being told that after changing religion, his name in Aadhaar card was also changed. National President of Child Commission Priyanka Kanungo gave this information on Saturday. Kanungo also inspected the children’s home. In which the matter has been revealed after questioning the children.

Priyank Kanungo told that he had received information about religious conversion of the children of the crèche. When investigated, it was revealed. He informed that the old names of three children in the crèche have been changed to Muslim names. Children’s Aadhaar cards have also been made with these names. On asking, the children also told their real names, the children are residents of Damoh district. These children are from poor class.

He told that the documents have been confiscated from the Shishu Griha and given to the DPM. He has been asked to take further action in the matter. Along with this, the police have been instructed to register an FIR against Haseen Parvez, the operator of the infant home.
