The business of eating and drinking is going on indiscriminately in the city without a food license. To curb this, the Food Safety Department on Friday raided the godown of M/s Octo Polish Technology Pvt Ltd, located in Ispat Nagar Panki. From here the wholesale business was caught operating without a food license.

During the raid, the manager of the company, Abhishek Pal was found. When he was asked about the food license, he could not show it. After which the team seized samples of Fruit Beverages like Litchi, Beverages Mango, Papad and Garam Masala etc. and seized Fruit Beverages. At the same time, business has been banned till the food license is not made.

Vijay Pratap Singh, Assistant Food Commissioner, Food Safety Department said that the team has seized a total of 2 food items. Among them, 75 bottles of Beverage Litchi, which cost Rs 3 thousand and 54 bottles of Beverage Mango, have been seized. Whose price has been estimated at Rs 2160. In the matter, the officials say that if there is a discrepancy in the report, action will be taken against the concerned.
