A massive fire broke out at a Durga Puja pandal at Aurai in Bhadohi district on Sunday. The entire pandal was burnt to ashes. But the idols of Maa Durga installed in this pandal were safe. Villagers of the village have immersed those idols today.
Today idols are being immersed in Bhadohi district. On this occasion, the idols of the fire pandal were also immersed by the villagers. Village head of the village Rajiv Jaiswal told that this is a sad time for all of us. We have lost many loved ones. The people of the village together have immersed the idols installed in the pandal today.
A fire broke out in this pandal of Bhadohi and 6 people were burnt to death. But there was no scratch on the statue of Mata Rani.
6 have died in the accident, 69 continue to be treated in the hospital
So far 6 people have died in the fire at Durga Puja pandal on Sunday. 69 people are being treated in hospitals in Varanasi, Prayagraj and Bhadohi. It is said that the condition of many people is still serious. All the people are only praying to God that those who are admitted in the hospital should return safely.
